Colorem by Fabio Catapano
Opening Night and Artist Talk 14 June

Colorem is a meditative digital art series that stands in quiet opposition to the speed and noise of the attention economy. Born from an urge to challenge the linear, mathematical aesthetics of traditional generative art, Colorem embraces fluidity and contemplative motion, positioning itself closer to the rhythms of nature than to the logic of algorithms.
Initially conceived as abstract experiments in motion and colour, these works evolved into a deeper reflection on our digital environment. With a background in digital anthropology, Fabio began using these animations as a form of resistance: visual mantras for a calmer, more meaningful online presence — a proposal for reclaiming our digital attention.
The exhibition invites viewers to slow down, to observe without expectation, and to consider their relationship with the screens and algorithms shaping modern life. The absence of conflict in Colorem is intentional. Like the rhythmic sound of water in a Japanese zen garden, the works seek to restore space, silence, and slowness.
Discover this exhibition in our gallery 14-26 June. Join us on 14 June for the exhibition opening and an artist talk from Fabio.

Artist Bio
Fabio Catapano is a visual artist and designer whose work explores the intersection of art, code, and digital culture. With a background in digital anthropology and over a decade of experience in creative direction, his practice focuses on creating meditative, abstract experiences through generative processes and fluid motion.
He is the founder of Nonoia Studio, a design practice that collaborates with leading global brands, including Apple, Moncler, and DICE. His work spans visual identity, motion design, CGI, and interactive environments, always focusing on translating complexity into clarity.
His ongoing series Colorem reflects on the attention economy by proposing a more human, contemplative relationship with the screen, replacing distraction with presence. Presented through slow, ambient animations, Colorem has become a growing archive of algorithmic introspection.
Fabio’s work has been featured in art festivals, design institutions, and digital platforms such as SuperRare, Foundation, and Niio. He has also spoken about digital aesthetics and future interfaces at events and publications including Elle Decor, Coeval, and the Museum of the Future.
