Tie the Knot: Screening and Cocktail Workshop
Pride Screening and Workshop led by Artist in Residence

Join artist Parks Sadler for a screening of his new work ‘Tie the Knot’, followed by a Cherry Cocktail making workshop.
The piece centres on Sadler’s go-to party trick: tying a cherry stem with his tongue. A rite of passage at house parties – a flirty gesture loaded with metaphor. The work explores adolescent angst and the sticky pressures of heteronormative milestones: proms, proposals, matching towels.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to make cherry-flavoured cocktails (and mocktails), opening up space for relaxed conversation around the artist’s work.
The workshop builds on the artwork’s themes, offering a playful way to engage for those who find art talk a bit like tying knots with their tongue – awkward at first, but easier with practice.
Dress code: cocktail casual/ first-date energy.
