Mirrored Lightscapes by Yael Erel

Mirrored Lightscapes | Part of London Design Festival
Step into an immersive world of light, reflection and sound with Mirrored Lightscapes – a captivating installation by Erel, merging digital fabrication with handcrafted artistry. Using robotic-embossed stainless-steel mirrors inspired by human anatomy, Erel creates rotating reflectors that project evolving light drawings in real time. These dynamic projections transform micro-scale surface details into large-scale, architectural illuminations, inviting meditative contemplation.
The installation is accompanied by a bespoke soundscape, Luminal Space, composed by Italian artist Gadi Sassoon. Blending classical elements with experimental algorithms, the sonic layer enriches the experience with a sense of raw, engineered emotion.
Mirrored Lightscapes invites viewers to reimagine the body, light and space through a lens that fuses natural science, technology and poetic exploration.
Join us for the opening night and panel talk on September 13th.
